Niall Winters
London Knowledge Lab

To wait or not to wait?

Mobile and ubiquitous technologies enable us to create private (collaborative) spheres in public spaces. This raises interesting questions concerning the changing nature of waiting and the role of technology in supporting/disrupting moments of reflection.

A computer scientist by training, Niall Winters is a RCUK Academic Fellow at the Institute of Education, University of London. Based at the London Knowledge Lab, he designs and builds new software tools to support learning in the ubiquitous landscape.
