Participants were divided into four groups and sent out into the area around the Waag Society on a scavenger hunt for examples of public toilets.

Design of toilet rolls found in department store
In the girlie toilet. Incontinence. Female hygiene.
Trying to queue jump. They formed a queue by standing around acting confused. Then a queue formed around them then they jumped it by pushing through to the front.
Money
Getting into a pay toilet for free. Distracted the attendant and sneaked in exit. Got escorted out two minutes later by a guard.
Toilet business. Snacks, coffee and deodorant for sale in a public toilet.

Mobile toilets. Only for men in amsterdam.
Toilets for disabled people in the university building. Unknown green button. Pushed it but nothing happened
Odor discrimination. Mens toilet smelt bad. Womens toilet had air freshener
Chic shopping mall. Toilet attendant taking care of her space. Cut out pictures from magazines and stuck them on cubicle doors. Tried to get away with not paying by pretending not to know what was going on. Didn't work.

Started at the Waag. Heard someone in the loo. Took photo as they came out. Wasn't happy about that

Stain on the wall. Recognition of location as public toilet area. Portable toilet placed there instead. Urinal, newspaper, wrapped food and cigarettes. Tiny sink that doesn't work.
Public toilets only for men. Signs outside bars saying 'no public toilets'
Hygiene issues. Washing machine evacuation tube is in the sink where you wash your hands.
Area where you pee is flat. Hygiene and cleanliness issues
Buckets and mops left in toilets for a long time. Water is cold.
Coat hooks in male toilets with graffiti. Same set-up in female toilet but without graffiti.
Using the portable urinal. Trying not to touch the walls. Very unstable so needed to balance it carefully.
