This was an exciting workshop full of participants driven to push the limits during their field explorations of public toilets.
After a short introduction the participants were divided into groups and sent out to search the city for prime examples of, and interesting interactions in, public toilets and they continued their fieldwork eventually all meeting at a central location for dinner and an exciting final task. The next day they reconvened to present photos and videos of their findings. Following on from this we engaged in a group discussion about what themes emerged from the range of experiences had by the participants and these themes fueled the subsequent design brainstorming session which produced design concepts rethinking the role of technology in the toilet.
